New Resource on the Way... The Comic Book Crowdfunding Planner
All the key planning templates, organizational checklists and launch strategies powering nearly 40 ComixTribe launches packed into one actionable workbook!
It’s no secret that crowdfunding has played a huge role in the development of ComixTribe over the years. It really hit me when setting up at Wicked Comic Con earlier this month… nearly everything on the table was made possible thanks to a successful Kickstarter launch.
Over the years, I’ve developed a library of tools, templates, checklists, and cheatsheets to help me and my fellow creators stay focused when planning and running a Kickstarter campaign. I’ve been teaching this stuff on the ComixLaunch podcast for nearly a decade and inside the ComixLaunch Pro community… and the results have been pretty spectacular.
To help celebrate 10 years of ComixLaunch, and to make the most essential of those resources more available to a wider audience, I’ll soon be launching a gorgeous Comic Book Crowdfunding Planner.
My goal for this planner is that it will be a tool that is extremely useful for both first time crowdfunders AND crowdfunding veterans alike. I plan on using one of these planners for each and every ComixTribe launch going forward.
Whether it’s your first launch or fiftieth, I see this planner as an elegant and affordable launch sidekick designed to reduce the overwhelm, manage the stress of a launch rollercoaster, and help creators maximize not just funding… but the lessons learned during every launch.
Let’s be honest, 2025 has not been an easy year. Not for me… and probably not for most of you as well. It feels like SO MUCH going on in the world is not only negative, but completely outside of our control.
It’s been said that a person’s happiness is directly correlated to the amount of time they spend focusing on things that are within their own control… and I believe that to be true. Doom scrolling is bad for the soul.
I know that I can’t have much effect on global events… but I can make and launch this Planner. Putting my focus there definitely has helped. Likewise, if you’ve been struggling with feeling powerless, one thing that you can control is working toward that dream project. And I hope this planning tool will help creators who have a comic book launch in them stay 100% focused on things in their control.
PLEASE GET ON THE PRE-LAUNCH LIST…
Despite launching nearly 40 crowdfunding projects for comics, graphic novels, plush toys, children’s books and more… I’ve never launched a workbook product like this before. So this makes building that PRE-LAUNCH follower list all the more important.
If you’re a creator, aspiring or professional, or you know someone who is and could use a little help bringing that project to the finish line, I hope you’ll get on the advanced notice list and score our early backer bonuses.
One of the things that’s made preparing for this launch so much fun is getting some positive feedback and endorsements from many of the creators I’ve worked with over the years who have gotten value from the tools that will be included in this book. Getting the chance to highlight many of them and their successes is going to make the launching of this planner so much more fun.
I’ll share more details on the new planner launch, who it’s for, and how exactly it can help soon… hope you’re excited for it!

P.S. I’ll be looking to amplify the reach of this planner… if YOU have an audience that includes creators and would like to do an interview or collab for your Substack, podcast, YouTube stream, social or other group you run, please shoot me a message. I’d love to work with you.
P.P.S. If you have 10 seconds, please smash that ADVANCE NOTICE Button so you’ll get notified the second the planner goes live.
This looks incredible! I'm in the very early stages of planning a project with an artist that we're thinking about funding through Kickstarter. It would be great to have something this tangible to work from
Interested! :D
